Freight and Logistics Professional|IT Support
I am an After-Hours Dispatch Support specialist responsible for assisting dispatchers outside of regular business hours by managing and completing outstanding tasks from prior shifts. I serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, handling real-time issues, route updates, delays, and emergencies. I monitor load statuses, ensure timely communication between drivers and operations, provide trip support, and escalate critical issues as needed to maintain smooth and continuous operations after hours.

Responsibilities:
- Start their shift with following up all unfinished tasks or issues during the main shift.
- Process all incoming DT notifications into Gmail 1 according to the Policy of DT daily duties.
- Process Samsara drivers for possible logbook violations.
- Process Gmail 2 and Gmail 3 emails by assigning an appropriate checkmark when done.
- Assist drivers for any AH activities (loading, unloading, finding a shop or truckstop, providing directions to PU/DEL, etc.).
- Requesting broker’s approval of all accessorial charges (TONU, detention, layover, extra stop, extra weight, etc.).
- Update the broker about possible late arrivals at PU or DEL by checking Live Loads with a late status in DT. Make sure the broker is satisfied with all our updates and is not going to charge us or stop our business relationship.
- Continue and complete all tasks assigned by the dispatch managers.
- Must send a report about any event/issue/incident which taking place during the shift and is being handled/settled by him. This report must be sent in the “AFTER HOURS” chat. If the event/issue/incident lasts longer than the working shift, the responsible person must leave the task for the next working shift with the instructions/conditions/agreements that were already done or achieved.
- Must process Netradyne critical alerts with drivers
- Process incoming calls to the company’s main line
- Continuously process incoming messages from drivers in Google Voice chat groups
